Anna Fleming Founder/ Director/ Board Member

Anna has worked in Disability Services for over 42 years. She has a very broad range of experience spanning most levels and facets in the sector, from direct care and support, through to senior management and business directorship.

Anna’s career commenced at the former Kew Cottages in 1978 and progressed to work in Senior Management positions with both Government & Non-Government services.

Anna founded and was Managing Director of both ONCALL 2005-2020 & MSSA 1993-1999 (the first disability and welfare labour hire agency in Australia). Anna has worked as a Specialist Consultant and Registered Nurse whilst completing further post graduate studies. Anna has had extensive experience in Business Leadership Management and is a member of AICD.

Robert Fleming Founder/ Director/ Board Member

Robert’s career commenced at the former Kew Cottages in 1978. He has over 42 years’ experience working in the Disability, Aged Care and Community Services sectors.

Robert is currently a Director of ONCALL Group Australia, a Co-founder of ONCALL and formerly ONCALL’s Administrator for 14+ years.

Robert's previous external positions held include - Manager, Disability Services DHS Southern Region, Co-founder of MSSA and State Manager of Home Care Services for Southern Cross Care (Vic). During his time at Southern Cross Care, Robert oversaw 10 offices statewide with more than 350 PPT & Casual staff providing services to a range of aged and disability services. Robert also managed three large Local Governments’ Aged & Disability (HACC) contracts.

Robert has significant experience in managing a wide range of Community Support Services within his career, and has extensive experience working within Quality Frameworks.

Mark Summerhayes Director/ Board Member

Mark Summerhayes is a Managing Director at private equity firm Pemba Capital Partners. Mark joined Pemba in 2006 and has over 20 years’ experience partnering with management teams.

After graduating from University in 1987, Mark spent several years at Bain & Company advising corporates on a mix of strategy and operational improvement projects based in London, Munich and Sydney. Mark led assignments for leading European players in the FMCG, financial services, telecoms, healthcare and industrial sectors. In 1996, Mark co-founded SB Capital Partners, a private equity partnership backed by Bain Capital moving in 2001 to Smedvig Capital. As Managing Director at Smedvig, Mark was one of the senior executives responsible for a $350m private equity portfolio.

Pemba Capital were, for 12 years until early 2019, investors in Device Technologies, a leading ‘patient first’ medical technology business forming a highly successful partnership. Mark served as Director at Device Technologies from 2014 to 2019 lauded by CEO, Mick Trevaskis, for championing long-term sustainability over short-term financial goals.

Tom Matthews Director/ Board Member

Tom is a Partner at private equity firm Pemba Capital Partners, and is an experienced growth investor, with over 10 years of experience supporting founders and management teams create market-leading businesses.

Tom has significant experience working with businesses in the disability and social care sectors, in both Australia and the UK.

Tom has been at Pemba for over 5 years and has led a large number of investments across Pemba’s areas of sector focus. Tom joined Pemba from Sovereign Capital, the UK ‘Buy & Build’ specialist private equity fund, where he was based in London and focused on investing in mid-market consolidators in the healthcare, education and business services sectors. During his time at Sovereign Capital, Tom successfully completed over 50 buy and build investments.

Before Sovereign Capital, Tom was with the Investment Banking Group at Macquarie Bank Limited, which focused on principal investment opportunities across a variety of sectors. Prior to Macquarie Bank Limited, Tom gained substantial transaction experience at Deloitte Corporate Finance both in Sydney and London.

Tom is also a Director of ReadyTech (RDY:ASX), Marque Group and Open Office.

Tom is a CFA charter holder, has a Masters of Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA and a BSc (Honours) degree in Management Sciences from the London School of Economics.

Robert Haybittel Director/ Board Member

Robert Haybittel is an Associate Director at private equity firm Pemba Capital Partners, with over 8 years of experience in private equity and investment banking, including mergers & acquisitions, restructuring and equity capital markets. He is responsible for Pemba’s healthcare investment activity, including origination, execution and portfolio management.

Robert joined Pemba from global investment bank Morgan Stanley where he advised private equity and corporate clients on deal mandates across a broad range of sectors including healthcare, general industrials, infrastructure & utilities and natural resources.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, Robert spent two years at stockbroking firm Ballieu Holst. Robert also spent several years competing on the professional tennis circuit.

Robert is also a Director of NDA Group.

Robert is a CFA charter holder and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in finance and economics.

For the past 25 years, Darren worked for NSW Business Chamber and its various brands as Chief Operating Officer. Darren held various Board positions of related and Joint Venture Companies. He was responsible for startups and growth initiatives both in Australia and offshore.

Darren has overseen more than a dozen Mergers and Acquisitions in the Nursing and Disability sectors and amongst other qualifications holds a Graduate Diploma in Management from the Australian Institute of Management and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Darren is passionate about making a difference to those in need by further enhancing ONCALL’s industry-leading service position.

Laura Green is an experienced disability services professional, starting over 17 years ago as a support worker for people with complex support needs in England and Australia. Since then, Laura has worked in non-government, government and consulting in areas including disability service design, housing options planning, community education and commissioning.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Community Education (Community Development).

Laura has significant knowledge and experience in the National Disability Insurance Scheme and was a foundation staff member of the National Disability Insurance Agency. Prior to ONCALL, Laura worked for KPMG where she led the national disability practice.

Toula is an experienced Executive Manager with a demonstrated history of over 24 years of working in Child Protection, Out of Home Care and Disability Services. She has performed a number of roles in government and non government organisations in areas including emergency Management, program evaluation, quality assurance and accommodation services.

Toula holds an Honour Degree focused in Psychology and Sociology from Monash University as well as a Diploma of Management and is trained and skilled in investigations.

Peta manages ONCALL's individual support services including Intake, Individual In Home and Community Based Services, and Professional services including Support Coordination.

Peta has extensive experience in the NDIS having worked in the Barwon trial site and supporting large not for profit organisations and their customers in their transition into the NDIS.

Peta has a study background in psychology, disability and management. She brings experience across the disability sector with a focus on supporting people who require intensive support to meet their needs as a result of complex life circumstances, including criminal justice, complex health support needs, young people in residential aged care, people with acquired brain injury and people from diverse cultural and lifestyle backgrounds.

Susan joined ONCALL in 2015 and leads the People & Culture Team consisting of Human Resources, Recruitment, Reception, Front Office, and Quality and Compliance.

Susan has over 15 years’ experience in health, tertiary education and sporting sectors with experience across all areas of operational human resource management, including business support, recruitment, payroll/remuneration, leadership and organisational development, project management, staff wellbeing, quality and strategic planning.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology Major), Grad Certificate Human Resource Management, Executive Strategic HR Management (AGSM) , Cert IV Government Investigations, Cert IV Workplace Training & Assessment, Mediation Skills and Coaching for Excellence. Susan is passionate about the community services sector and is proud to work with ONCALL, sharing it’s values and commitment to delivering quality services.
