Real Stories: Kieran’s Journey

When Kieran sought help with meal preparation through ONCALL’s Help at Home package, he uncovered an unexpected passion for cooking. With guidance from his support worker, he learned to prepare meals, gaining confidence along the way. What started as a necessity became an enriching experience, fostering independence and joy.

Guided by his support worker, Sharon, Kieran was eager to try his hand at something new and suggested tacos! As he learned to make guacamole, salsa, shredded cheese, and perfectly cooked beef, Sharon could see Kieran’s confidence grow with each step.

What began as a routine meal prep evolved into a joyful experience filled with laughter and learning. Kieran’s kitchen soon brimmed with both delicious aromas and his newfound excitement for cooking.

Thanks to ONCALL's 'Help at Home' package, Kieran not only received the support he needed but also found a hobby to boost his confidence and bring him a sense of accomplishment.
