Our holistic expertise

When you choose ONCALL to help you deliver your services, you get the benefit of our decades in the industry.

Our founders, Anna and Robert Fleming, began their careers as disability support workers and advocates back in the 1970s. In 1993, they established Australia’s first labour hire agency dedicated to the disability and welfare sectors. In 2005, they established ONCALL to deliver their person-centred approached to disability and child and youth services. And since 2017, we’ve been a registered training organisation, ensuring the industry’s workforce has the qualifications and skills required to protect and enhance the lives of the community’s most vulnerable people.

This breadth of experience and expertise is not something you often find in a single organisation. It gives us a holistic understanding of the industry and your business, and it enables us to help you deliver your services to the highest standards.

Our operational know-how

Every day we’re given the honour of supporting people in need. But it’s also a huge responsibility – lives can quite literally be on the line. That’s why we leave nothing to chance.

Our carefully designed operating systems and robust support planning processes reduce risks and put safeguards in place. Our organisational structure creates clear lines of communication and fosters collaboration, accountability and transparency. And our extensive workforce is thoroughly training and background checked.

This framework enables us to respond to your needs efficiently and effectively. It also means we can respond rapidly. Our experienced casual staff and teams can hit the ground running, no matter how urgent or complex your request.

At every level, in any situation, you can rely on us to be there for you and the people you support.

We are the complex care specialists

When people are in need, regardless of how challenging the situation, we’re there for them.

We have extensive experience supporting NDIS participants with multiple disabilities, complex physical needs and behaviours of concern. And we support children and youth from families in crisis, often working with professionals from the child protection and criminal justice systems. In fact, we’re experts at managing cases where multiple-stakeholders are involved and cooperation and sensitivity are crucial for positive and timely outcomes.

Our reputation has been built by taking on the cases others back away from. No matter what kind of pressure we’re under or how emotionally charged a situation is, we ensure every person gets the highest quality support.

We are people people

The first thing you’ll notice about us is our genuine affection for people. Everyone here has the desire to improve the lives of others.

We have a can-do attitude and take responsibility for delivering positive outcomes, even in the most challenging of circumstances.

We’re trustworthy, ethical and full of integrity so you can be confident your support recipients will always be respected and treated equally.

We’re immensely proud of our team and the culture we’ve created. If you’d like to work with committed professionals with big hearts, we can introduce you to some of the finest.

I spoke with Sarah’s mother on Friday and Saturday, she mentioned staff had been providing her with updates, which has made a very difficult time less stressful. Can you please pass our thanks onto staff, it was so lovely to see the relationship they had achieved with Sarah in a couple of days.

Departmetal Staff thanking us for our quick response to what was a critical situation for the family.
