In addition to ONCALL providing staff for regular and planned NDIS 1:1 support, we can also assist with replacement staff to fill one-off or ad-hoc shifts at very short notice.
 
We are receiving more and more requests from Support Coordinators where the participant’s regular supports have fallen through asking us to help cover these gaps in support.
 
If your participant is having their supports cancelled at the last minute or is experiencing difficulties obtaining supports, ONCALL can assist. With our 1,700 strong staff and 24/7 Allocations team, we provide support for:
 
Daily Personal Activities – including personal care, meal assistance, exercise and manual handling
Community Access and Participation
Domestic Cleaning
Travel/Transport Arrangements – general or activity-based transport.
 
A Super-fast Intake Process
We have implemented a super-fast Emergency Intake process which can be completed over the phone in 5 minutes. We capture the support needs, any behaviours/risks we need to be aware of, medication needs and the shift details and requirements. That’s all. Once we have this information, we go ahead and book in a support worker.
 
This service is available to any participant with either a Plan Managed or Self-Managed NDIS plan regardless of whether they have used ONCALL before or not.
