Latest changes to NDIS plans


Did you know the NDIA has introduced some temporary changes to provide greater flexibility in NDIS plans during the Coronavirus outbreak? These include new support items for Support Coordination which allows you to use your CORE support funding to provide critical support and ensure that your essential services continue during this time.

ONCALL’s Support Coordination team can help you take advantage of these changes and assist you to figure out how to make the most of your NDIS package and link you in with the services you need.

ONCALL’s NDIS supports and services


ONCALL provides a wide range of disability supports and services for children and adults tailored to meet individual needs.

We deliver NDIS Core and Capacity Building Supports based on your goals and funding. We support individual participants and their families with daily living in-home activities and access to the community and can assist with:

  • Daily Personal Activities – Assisting with, and/or supervising, personal tasks of daily life to develop your skills to live as autonomously as possible.
  • Participation in Community, Social and Civic Activities – Provision of support to enable you to engage in community, social and/or recreational activities.
  • Household Tasks – Performing essential house cleaning activities that you are not able to undertake.
  • Assistance with Travel/Transport Arrangements – Provide general or activity-based transport.
  • Supported Independent Living – Provide daily living support in a group or shared living arrangement.
  • Specialist Positive Behaviour Support – Highly specialised intensive support interventions, development of behaviour support plans and training for carers and others in behaviour management strategies.
  • Support Coordination – Assist you to understand and optimise your plan, strengthen your ability to connect with, coordinate and implement informal, mainstream and funded supports, resolve service delivery issues and build skills and resilience to direct your life, not just your services.
  • Plan Management – Establish and ongoing maintenance of the financial management arrangements for managing of funding of supports and capacity building and training in plan administration and management with you to strengthen your ability to undertake tasks associated with the management of your supports.

How ONCALL can help

While some supports including community access are limited for the time being, our support workers can assist across a range of areas. ONCALL has staff available right now who can assist with:

General household duties

  • Cleaning – bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning floors, disinfecting high touch areas (e.g. door handles, light switches)
  • Washing, ironing, changing sheets and linen, making beds
  • Tidying room, cupboards and wardrobes

Personal care

  • Supervising daily hygiene, showering, grooming, toileting
  • Laying out clothes and assisting in dressing

Staying connected

  • Participating in home based or virtual activities
  • Assisting with school classes in a virtual environment
  • Managing social networks and connections (with family and friends)
  • Identifying alternative support services


  • Planning, cooking and meal preparation

General assistance and support

  • Online shopping – groceries, clothing, other essential goods
  • Finances – paying bills, banking, managing subscriptions
  • Organising appointments – medical, specialists, and health related
  • Transport to appointments
  • Exercise
  • Feeding and caring for pets
