The NDIS is the new way of providing disability support to you and will provide every Australian under 65 with a permanent and significant disability the support they need to achieve their goals. The rollout of the NDIS is one the biggest changes in the lives of people living with disabilities that we’ve seen in a generation.
Through the NDIS, participants identify their supports to achieve their goals in independence, community involvement, employment and health.
The NDIS has already begun rolling out; from 2015 to 2019, the NDIS will become available throughout Australia.

Check your eligibility
There are many factors that determine your eligibility including your location, age, and whether you meet the requirements for disability or early intervention support.
To get access to funding, you will have a plan meeting with the NDIA. The plan that’s developed by the NDIA and you is put in place for 12 months. We’ll be there to help you prepare for your first planning meeting:
After you’ve had your plan developed, you’ll need to manage your plan. That can be done in one of three ways:
If you decide you want a plan management provider, ONCALL will be there to help you with financial intermediary. Our Finance team can assist with the management of your fund, pay invoices and deal with all the other financial elements of your package.
Our NDIS Support Coordination team can help coordinate your supports. We’ll work with you to establish what type of supports you’ll need in your package, what providers can deliver them, how much they’ll be, where they are and can develop service agreements.
Once you and your support coordinators have established what supports you need, who you’re going to employ to deliver them, when and where, and how much they are, your service delivery starts.
ONCALL will be there when you need market leading support workers to provide the benchmark in quality care. We’re here with any support you need in your plan, we’ll work with you to establish exactly what you need and build a support team to help you achieve your goals. We’ll also provide you and the NDIS with reports on specific goals, outcomes and success indicators as we go along.
You won’t need to worry about any of the financial stuff for the supports you’re receiving because our plan management team will be handing all of that for you. You can stay on top of everything using the real time tracking and reporting that’s provided as part of your plan management.
Your plan lasts for 12 months. A review will happen after 12 months or if something changes in your life. The review is a chance for you to think back about which supports have helped to achieve your goals, and a time to have another think about anything new that interests you or opportunities you would like to participate in. When it comes to the time to have a review meeting with the NDIA, ONCALL will be there to help you prepare.
When your first NDIS plan is developed, you’ll meet your NDIA planner to discuss your current services and support, and figure out what your goals are for the future. Your plan will be built based on your goals and the services and support you require. Your plan will be divided into three categories. The NDIA use very specific language and words when they make your plan. It’s important to understand the difference between each category so you can get the funding you need.
