Learning & Development Project Manager

About the role: 

As a key member of the People and Culture Team, reporting to the Executive Manager, this newly created role will focus on the identification and coordination of technical, specialised and customised training and development programs that boost employee and organisational capability.      

Responsibilities will include:  

  • Coordinating learning and developmental needs across the company and acting as the conduit between the operational business units, People & Culture and ONCALL Training College.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of training and development projects which align with the strategic and operational goals and/or policy and legislative changes;
  • Coordinating and managing intake, progress, placement and program effectiveness, ensuring accurate records are maintained;
  • Delivering internal training and providing ongoing support as needed;
  • Undertaking and maintaining skill gap analysis;
  • Contribute to strategic and operation planning and policy and procedure development;
  • Providing regular reporting as required;
  • Acting as People & Culture representative on any committees, forums and focus groups as required. 

 What we need from you:

  • Relevant experience in HR or L&D role;
  • Hold relevant qualifications, including Cert IV in Training & Assessment;
  • Great interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills;
  • Able to work across different levels of the business in a professional, consultative and collaborative manner;
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills;
  • Experience in the delivery of professional development training to groups and 1:1;
  • Able to demonstrate effective qualitative and quantitative outcomes;
  • Knowledge of the community services sector is ideal but not mandatory.
