NDIS Intake and Transitions Officer

Located in Surrey Hills, working from modern, vibrant and friendly ONCALL offices, you will feel welcomed from the very first day!  You will join a passionate department that provides individual clients and their families with flexible support.  

The main focus of this role will be to assist with and perform the functions of the Intake & Transitions portfolio.  Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Ensuing the effective and efficient management of the participant intake, transitions and renewals processes.
  • Gathering and collation of relevant participant documentation to assess safety and risk for service delivery.
  • Creating compliance documents such as Service Agreements and Service Bookings for all associated NDIS participants.
  • Ensuring accurate record keeping on participant records and client database.
  • Assisting with the management of wage online -web enquiries.
  • Assisting internal stakeholders with debt recovery process against NDIS plans.
To be successful in this challenging and varied role, you will possess a recognised administrative qualification and in turn, excellent time management and organisational skills. Your communication (written and verbal) skills and ability to build and maintain ongoing professional working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders is paramount.

Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated disability sector experience, a knowledge of NDIS and DHHS standards and an understanding of up to date disability related legislation, policy and processes. Through this, you will also have gained some experience developing service agreements and raising service bookings on the NDIS portal.  A current Victorian Police Check, Working with Children's Check and completion of a DWES check are also required.
