Short term accommodation (STA) can typically be provided anywhere between 1 night to up to 2 weeks at any one time.
Short Term Accommodation is suitable for:
Emergencies
If the primary care giver is ill, needs to go into hospital, or if the resident needs to move out of the current accommodation at short notice STA is reliable accommodation option.
Providing respite
STA is available when the primary carer needs a break
A change of scenery

If you’re looking to learn new skills such as cooking, yoga or therapy, STA can be the perfect accommodation option.
Gaining independence
In some instances, STA can provide a pathway into longer term accommodation options and help prepare for full time Supported Independent Living.
