About the Course

This course is designed for people currently working in the aged care sector who are looking to transition into disability work.

Although aged care and support services to people with disabilities may have similarities around the provision of care; the specific needs of each client group have some distinct differences. A key difference as a result of the NDIS is the welcome change of participant choice and control. This change is unique to the disability service and is having a significant impact upon care models, service provision and funding arrangements.

ONCALL has been a key provider of direct care and the provision of labour to hundreds of disability service providers over many years. It is this experience, expertise and our commitment to participants that drives ONCALL to offer training to equip tomorrow’s workforce to meet their needs.

This course will support those seeking to transition from aged care to the new opportunities existing within the disability sector.
